Some sources appear to have confused Elizabeth Bruce's death with that of her mother, Elizabeth de Burgh, and say she died in 1327, however, this is incorrect. Elizabeth Bruce is known to have married Sir Walter Oliphant (Olifaunt) of Aberdalgie and Dupplin. Elizabeth was alive is 1364 when the properties of herself and her husband were reconfirmed by her brother King David II. Her date of death, like her exact date of birth, is unknown but was certainly sometime after 1364.
